At the “Marubi” National Photography Museum, this tourist season, the door never closes.
Tourists from all over the world are looking to get to know Albania’s past through photographs taken over the years.
“It is a very interesting museum to visit. There are many things to see. The pictures of the Marubi family are very beautiful. Antique photos of cities, life in Albania, traditions, everything is interesting. I have seen such a museum only in Morocco, where through photos you travel to the past and get to know the history and culture”, said a tourist.
“A very good museum that presents life in Albania in different eras, with traditions, clothing, daily life in villages and cities. I was very impressed with how wedding ceremonies or parties used to be organized. Even the children liked it a lot as they had the opportunity to get to know the past”, said a tourist.
Marubi, this year has broken attendance records. The book of impressions and a questionnaire placed at the disposal of tourists, has helped the photo library to create an opinion on the expectations of visitors.
Last year, the prestigious “The Guardian” in an article dedicated to this house of photography, listed “Marubi” as one of the 10 best museums in Europe.
